“Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon,” hosted by Javed Akhtar, “will celebrate industry stalwarts”


<p>“Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon” will be hosted by Padma Bhushan, lyricist and renowned poet Javed Akhtar. <p>Javed Akhtar will offer beautiful tales from Hindi cinema music, presented by Saregama Live.</p>
<p>The evening will be filled to the brim with hit songs’ unsung backstories as well as music that inspired remarkable tales.</p>
<p>“With the passage of time, memories gain a certain compelling power and ever so often, I find myself reliving musical sittings, conversations, and moments of serendipity that led to the songs that are now considered iconic,” Javed Akhtar added in reference to the same topic.</p>
<p>“Songs often tell a portion of a movie’s plot, but frequently they also have a backstory, so it will be fun to share some of them with the audience. He said, “This will be a vibrant, free-flowing discussion honoring renowned composers, singers, producers, and actors with whom I have had the pleasure of working closely.”</p>
<p>A live band and singers Meiyang Chang and Jahanvi Shrimankar will combine classic song arrangements with an entrancing voyage of never-before-heard tales.</p>
<p>The Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi auditorium in Mumbai will host it on December 29.</p>
